Terms of service

Last updated: June 2026

1. The service

Propela Therapy is practice-management software for mental-health professionals: AI-assisted session notes, scheduling, assessments, messaging, and a client portal. It is a tool for licensed professionals — it does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it is not an emergency service.

2. Accounts and responsibility

You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you store, for obtaining the consents your jurisdiction requires (including for session recording), and for keeping your credentials secure. Clinical responsibility always remains with the treating professional: AI-generated notes and plans are drafts until a clinician reviews and approves them.

3. Subscriptions and billing

Plans are billed monthly through Stripe and can be cancelled at any time, taking effect at the end of the billing period. Trials convert only when you explicitly subscribe. Prices may change with 30 days' notice.

4. Data

Your data is yours. We process client data only as your processor under the DPA, you can export everything at any time, and deletion is permanent. See the Privacy policy for details.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use the service to violate the law, to store data you have no right to process, to probe or disrupt the infrastructure, or to resell access. We may suspend accounts that put other customers' data at risk.

6. Availability and liability

We aim for high availability but the service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing limits liability for intent or gross negligence.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by Dutch law; disputes go to the competent court in Amsterdam.
