Recording sessions and generating AI notes
Propela turns a session into a structured note in two steps: capture, then draft. You can upload an audio or video file, or record live in the browser — both feed the same pipeline.
Capture
On a session page, upload a recording or start a live recording. Audio and video are encrypted in your browser before they ever leave your device, then transcribed automatically.
Draft
Once a transcript exists, generate a note in your chosen format — SOAP, DAP, BIRP, GIRP, a basic summary, or a custom structure. The draft is clearly marked AI-generated and stays a draft until you approve it.
You stay in charge
Edit any section and it is flagged as human-reviewed. Use "Improve" to refine a section or "Regenerate" to start over. Nothing is filed until you approve it — the signature on the record is always yours. No transcript or note text is ever written to a log.
No recording? Use "structure my rough notes" to turn typed shorthand into a formatted note.
